Halloween was fun, but now time to move on to the last month of Autumn and use the remaining warm(ish) days to prep ourselves for winter and the holiday season is also right around the corner, so our November menu tried to take all of this into account and create some specific flavours and aromas to match. Also, this month we have one recipe developed by our own witch, Anastasija!
We have 1 cocktail coming back from the very first specials menu – “Motion”. It is a perfect one for colder weather with its sweet bitter flavour merged with ginger spiciness and also perfect for people preferring lighter drinks.
2 cocktails come from Redrum, as “Japanese Negroni” was a fan favourite as a staple on September Special Menu, bringing it’s bitters sweet flavours with floral complexity and delicate, yet exquisite tastes. While “Harvest Moon” appeared just for a week on a Pisco Week and is a rare sourish creation by Michael with fruity and spicy flavours to balance it out. Another perfect Autumn drink.
“Yamamba” is the first ever creation by Anastasija under guidance from Michael. It combines euphoric properties and taste of Catuma, with herbal notes of gin, complex flavours of Yuntaku Japanese amaro, sweetness of Maraschino liqueur and balance PH neutrality of “spiced” by few drops of feijoa spirit and orange concentrate just to make it perfect.
Lastly, a comforting fruity and creamy dessert using coconut milk, vanilla liqueur all mixed with spiced rum from Schwarzwald and passion fruit smoothie liqueur from Italy.
All in all, a well balanced special’s menu to tailor to different tastes and bring you our own interpretation of Autumn!
