Summer is settling in, Berlin is buzzing, and those long, golden evenings are calling for something special in your glass. May is all about bold flavours, refreshing twists & cocktails that match the energy of the city. Whether you’re out soaking up the sun or easing into the night. This month’s selection is all about contrast, character & a little bit of flair.
We begin with a true attention-grabber: “Mango Pikante”
A sweet, fruity & spicy creation that doesn’t hold back. A vibrant mix of two ginger liqueurs and chili liqueur sets the tone, lifted by angostura bitters and Mystic Mango lemonade, all tied together with a dehydrated mango slice for that extra tropical kick.
Next up, we have “Rio Noir” , fruity, sweet & summery in all the right ways. Built on Cachaça Delicana Silver and vermouth bianco, enriched with Giffard’s Cassis Noir and a fresh lime squeeze, it’s smooth, juicy, and dangerously easy to enjoy. Finished with a homemade dehydrated lime wheel for that crisp final touch. The first potion created & designed by our own Ella Fernandes!
For something a little more mystical, “Holy Grail” delivers a sweet, herbal & sacred profile. Berto dry gin meets Greek mastiha liqueur and vermouth bianco, creating a drink that feels both ancient and refreshing, crowned with a fresh orange slice.
Then there’s “Urbanstrasse Negroni” ,bitter, sweet & proudly local. Featuring Rhizom dry gin and Ambiq amaro, both crafted in Kreuzberg, combined with homemade red vermouth and a bright orange squeeze. It’s a grounded, modern Negroni twist, finished with a homemade dehydrated orange slice.
Finally, we close with the most intricate of the lineup: “Aka No Shi”, a rich base of Quinta do Vallado LBV ruby port blends seamlessly with Berto dry gin and delicate sakura & shiso liqueurs, resulting in a layered, almost poetic cocktail. Garnished with a dehydrated rose bud for that final elegant touch.
